Mortgage Intelligance began in 1989 as Norlite Financial Services, and changed its name to Mortgage Intelligence in 2000 through the amalgamation of five regional mortgage brokerages

Mortgage Intelligence was acquired by GMAC Residential Funding in April 2002, and purchased by MI brokers and Invis Inc in October 2008

Today, it operates nationwide with strong brand recognition.
